Incrassating

Incrassating - definition: Making thicker in consistency. Now an obsolete word, incrassating was used in herbals and medicinal textbooks of the 17th to 19th centuries. "Incrassating medicines are such as reduce the too fluid blood and juices to a proper consistence, and a due condensation" -- Society of Gentlemen's "A new and complete dictionary of arts and sciences", p.1754.
